So, when I'm in "full auxiliary mode" I'm now seeing a check engine light and the battery light. These don't come on when I actually start the Bronco, only in full aux mode. Also, when I stop driving, put it in park and hit the stop button, the engine and everything shuts down, where, previously, the aux power would stay on until I opened the door. First time since I took delivery that I've seen these lights come up.

I recently added some ditch lights that work perfectly fine and, just this week, i had the doors off for a few days. I went back and checked the negative connection on the battery and it was tight. Even took it off for 30 sec to let everything reset. Checked all the electrical connects from the doors and those are all seated properly.

Kinda stumped. Not sure if this started a couple of weeks ago when I added the lights (don't think so or I would have noticed before) or something as a result of the doors. I just put them back on last night.

Drives perfectly fine and the lights DO NOT appear when the Bronco is running.

Any ideas?

Edit: Full Accessory Mode not auxiliary

Search for gremlins caused when doors off. I recall seeing something about it.

A quick fix solution might be disconnect both battery cables for 30 minutes and then put back to reset any weird crap. These things are more software code/computer than mechanical at times, and like a phone or computer can need a little reboot.

No joy on disconnecting the battery. Still have the same lights.

Also unplugged electrical on each door and plugged back in. Made no difference.

Looks like this may be one for the dealership in the next oil change.
