I searched for a while before finding a screaming deal on mine. Needs a little work but mechanically in great condition (3 on the tree inline six).

I did come across one that was $17k, 302 with floor shift manual, had a little rust but not cancerous by any means.

I agree with @FastM400 though, to get a good one you're usually looking at around $30k these days.

he said classic, not EB. you can pic up a decent FSB in the 5-7k range, and a mint resto for <30k. And you can easily fit a 460 stroker.

I am buying another FSB tomorrow. I hope, if it is as good as it looks.

and yes, FSBs are classics too. every Bronco is a classic at the moment, until the 2021s actually start rolling o ut. the newest are 24 years old, the oldest FSBs are 42.

With all of the restrictions as far as what packages go with what and the uncertainty of how much it will cost, as well as ford saying the manual is not a strong trans, I was just thinking maybe I could find something simpler, arguably tougher and probably cheaper to insure. Whether it’s the 66-77 or the bigger chassis models, I might have to find a new message board!
