Had a 77 w/302 4bbl and soft top (profile pic). Pulled that dam motor out almost annually messing with the power. And of course for you old-schoolers, adjusting the carb. Biggest mistake getting rid of it, but will rectify that soon...

We had an original and a Bronco II . Loved both of them. Drove them all over the Midwest and Eastern States. Put lots of trouble free miles on the Bronco II. Sold it to a friend who used it for many years after.
We really would like to get a new 2 door. But totally confused on which model. We currently own a 9 yr old Focus hatch 5 spd a Crosstrek and an Audi S3 . Trek honestly takes us everywhere off road that we want to go. So I'd be kidding myself to think we would be heavy duty off roading with the Bronco.
Like the idea of a Auto V6 but seriously thinking of a manual 4 . We've owned mostly manual shift cars over the years.

My Dad drove an early 80s - I think it was an '84 - with the 351W. That was the vehicle I learned to drive, and I thought the plan was to give it to me as my first vehicle. That plan didn't work out, which is a good thing! I got pretty crazy in my Escort with a 1.9L, so I probably would have died in the Bronco. I did drive the Bronco a bunch hunting, to the beach, pretending to go offroading on anything that resembled a hill. This is 100% nostalgia for me. I've owned quite a few old off road vehicles over the years but never found the right old Bronco. Now I'm older and lazy, and I just want my vehicles to work, so no vintage vehicles for me.

We have had a 1968 Bronco since about 1993. It was our daily driver for about 5 years before being switched to just trail use.

Our family has had four early Broncos through the years. They are a so much fun, and are truly indestructible. This is one of our past Broncos next to a Super Duty we built for a customer.

This will be my second Bronco. Had a 76 decades ago. Loved the truck, but to be honest it looked nicer than it was. Needed some work. Sold it to get out from under it. Took a bath but came clean.
