As the title states, has anyone converted an Upfitter switch from acc+ to 12v constant yet? I know some of the Raptor & SD guys have done this mod but I believe their switch setup and dedicated wiring may be a bit different from the Bronco. Not interested in adding a separate aftermarket switch when I can keep it a clean factory look if possible.

UPDATE 1/20/22
I can confirm that yes it is possible. You have 3 options:
1. Make switches #1-4 constant hot
2. Make switches #5-6 constant hot
3. Make all switches hot

I went with option 2 as I needed switch #6 to be hot at all times. It controls the Blackvue DR900X-2CH IR Plus and allows me to turn off the cameras rather than having them run in parking mode when parked in the garage. I have the wife trained to flip the switch on when she pulls out of the garage and flip the switch off when she pulls into the garage.

So I take it that no one has attempted this yet? I have the entire bronco workshop manual including the electrical section, but havent found time to dig into the bronco yet.

You could use a relay and wire it to the upfitter switch where it opens the relay when the upditter switch is flipped (or ign on)

in other words on is off and of is on. Assuming you can’t program them another way

Take the switch panel off and run one straight to the battery power. Hmmm, I might do that for a charging panel.

Not a good idea. This isn't how the Raptor guys are doing it, are they??

How did you do this?

It’d be awesome if you shared some detail of how you did this.

Well crap..i didn't realize that this was not already a feature. I had every intention on wiring up my Midland to a switch but if it loses power with the ignition, it's worthless.

So yeah... what's the secret?

Bumping this up....any guidance on HOW to do this? I'd like to make 5-6 always hot.
