Have you looked at the Swarfworks bracket?

What Lightbar is that? Nevermind, I clicked your link. lolYou could also just replace the OEM fog lights with white and or amber LEDs. I got the M&R LEDs and combined both. The install is simple, they're super bright and the price is right. I also added the 40" amber light bar after the fact and it's awesome.

This looks great..! I have been waiting for someone to make a bull bar for the capable bumper, but this might be the solution. I like the low profile that does't stifle too much air flow. Would you mind additionally sharing the process, hardware and how sturdy it feels? Much appreciated..I have the capable bumper but I think the bar would work on a standard bumper too but can't be certain.
In exploring the bumper, I came across those bolts. Didn’t realize that it’s all that’s is holding the bumper on. Hmmm, may just pull it off and see what I am willing to do with it.Pop the two caps off. Only 6 bolts hold it on. (I did this to remove crash bars) With it off you can bolt on using a nut and washer on the back side.
I’d like both amber and white. Beside, I bought an 8 switch gang box and need to add stuff to make use of all those switchesI have a standard bumper in pieces in my basement form a mod bumper swap. Let me know if you need any pictures. Just pm me.
Seems like swapping the stock lights with amber ones would be easier.
Hmm, that may be the perfect option. Modest Bull bar and light mounts. Any problem with it blocking airflow?I have the capable bumper but I think the bar would work on a standard bumper too but can't be certain.
That bull bar won't work with the stock plastic bumper.Hmm, that may be the perfect option. Modest Bull bar and light mounts. Any problem with it blocking airflow?
But it blocks the parking sensors unfortunately. That bull bar won't work with the stock plastic bumper.
I went with the RC nudge bar, which you can add lights to. I opted for a budget 22" light bar from Amazon on mine.
The nudge bar mounts on the existing tow loops under the bumper.
Hmmm, got a pic showing the brackets and mounting?I made simple brackets and used the factory plastic “skid plate” mounting bolts for these 2” Diode Dynamic lights. I also have a lightbar over the windshield.
i will take a closeup pic in the morningHmmm, got a pic showing the brackets and mounting?
Can't block what's not there , at least on my rig anywayBut it blocks the parking sensors unfortunately.

[/QUOTE As I was taking the pic I remembered that I scrapped the brackets that I made! I clipped about 1/4 inch off one of the cooling fins as shown in the picture and then just mounted them upside down. using the mounting bracket that comes with the light pod. I also used a bolt without the large washer so it would clear the bracket. The bracket itself acts as a washer distributing the force on the plastic.
Nope, worked great. Is the standard bumper solid plastic or is in steel behind and then a plastic cover? I would guess it has a metal crash bar behind it of some sortAwesome thank you. No modifications needed? Other than drilling mounting holes
