Anyone primarily keep their Bronco in storage and only break it out for 4x4'ing?

The Bronco delay caused me to finally buy a sports car - and it's been a revelation to have a vehicle designed to excel on pavement. I'm the guy now volunteering to get groceries, if it means I can take the car out. :)

I've encountered some Broncos, and while zipping around them, no part of me says - hey I'd rather be in that lumbering 4x4 (on pavement).

Don't get me wrong, I'm looking forward to my Bronco getting delivered. But yes, it will be more for the off-roading. Along with utility usage (towing, kayaking, fishing, camping, etc). Times when I can make use of the particular attributes the Bronco offers (I ain't strapping a kayak to the top of my sports car)!

I consider driving on Long Island roads ‘off roading’, so I’ll be driving off road every day 😎.

Lol, that's not far from truth, John, from what I hear.
May the odds be in your favor.
Question for those who know: Are those roads worse than the ones in Louisiana?
Of everywhere I've been, they take the "crappiest roads" prize so far.
I-20 makes you feel like you are actually on a bucking bronco.

I plan to be in Moab sometime in May after we leave the Grand Canyon on May 10th.
Are you going to the Bronco Safari?

Sometimes Chicagoland seems like a continual construction zone, with roads falling apart. Soon as they finish one section of road, they are tearing up another section for a rebuild. And all the while you are paying tolls to sit in construction delays.

NY likes to blame the fact that they use salt and plow snow for their crappy road conditions. I don't buy it. I've driven on plenty of roads subject to the same weather conditions, that are far better maintained. Our roads just suck.
