I am 5ft 10 and have not had this happen, my seat is almost all the way back. My left leg goes out first, I am assuming folks are hitting it with the left knee??

I couldn't do it with the way my seat is now. I would have to be belly up to the steering wheel!

Be that as it may, that is a separate issue. Hitting the knob with you knee is a real thing that many of us have (obviously) experienced…
Yep, me too

Yeah this was happening on my 22 since the day I picked it up (random headlights turned on) and thought I was doing something wrong. Nope. Problem with the logic board. Unfortunately I don’t have the service bulletin number anymore, but you can probably find it on this board.

So far the Bronco has been flawless for 1500 miles.

Ok, here’s a opportunity for one of our vendors here. Need something like this in hard plastic to cover the switch. Most put the light switch on auto and leave it. Flip the cover on, instant knock bloker.

It happened more when I first got it. My knee is the usual culprit. I pay more attention and it happens a lot less now 10 months later.

I've found that if I avoid touching this switch, my lights tend to work as expected.

I went to Ford and they did a software update and it has not happened since. It's only been a little over a week though

Yes, Ford design flaw. I just check the knob every time I exit the Bronc. Just added to the to-do-list after I park it, turn off the ignition, put in second gear, pull up the e-brake, etc. You get the picture. Some define me as anal, or whatever disorder term is currently used to describe this behavior by the medical community today. I define it as normal which use to mean responsible back in the day. Tommy Bronc
not really a ford thing, numerous GM vehicles have the same knob style in the same location. I've done it in multiple vehicles.
