I solved this by raising the center back seat headrest one click and hooking the clothes hanger around the bar. My garment bag doesn’t necessarily hang freely, but kinda follows the seat down with a little bend at the bottom. Not for a closet full of clothes or a road trip, but works just fine to get my clothes to the gym so I can leave and go straight to work.
These work great for hangers and bags only 6.99 on amazon

There is a good reason it doesn't have overhead grab handles, that is where the overhead certain airbags are. I like overhead handles but honestly it is a very minor issue, and the handles it does have work pretty well.
The Bronco does not have overhead curtain airbags.

I have the Bartact paracord handles - you will forget they are there after a while and they won't interfere with the airbags. Honestly though, I don't use them much...

Maybe some side steps would help. I put my left foot on the step, grab the handle with my left hand, step up into the cab and sit. Before I had steps installed it was more laborsome. But an overweight friend of mine has issues getting in, but they are the only one.

One reason to have rope or flexible handles is head trauma and or scull fracture during hard bounces and or crashes or roll overs. Drivers must be cognizant of passenger safety as well as looks.

I've said many times that while Ford engineers claim they can't put a handle on the A pillar due to airbags............uh, my Tundra did. Just sayin'.

I purchased these and they arrived today. I installed them in about 15 minutes. Plenty of room for hand inside the handle and with respect to clearance with the hardtop.

The Bronco airbags are side curtain and deploy downward parallel to the side window. The grab handles are completely out of that path.

Also, the side curtains deploy from the seam in the plastic shell at the bottom of the cage. Again, from what I can tell there is no chance for interference with the grab handles.

Yes, it is another hard object inside the cabin - but, candidly, there are other hard objects (e.g., latch for front hardtop panels, etc.).

I saw those as well. Can you post pictures when you get them installed?
Here you go. I really like the look and super sturdy. Plenty of room for hand and my 5'1" wife appreciates the help to get in 😀

Thanks for the pictures. They look pretty good, not out of place at all like some other options.

How much space is between your head and the handle? It looks like they only stick like 2 inches out.

I am 5' 8" but have seat high. I measured 8 inches to my head. Here is also a pic with how far it sticks out... i have thick hands and have plenty of space.

My wife founds these I think on etsy, but not sure. The Bronco part is actually leather and stitched to the strap.

Do you have a link for this? I’ve looked everywhere and can’t find these online!

My biggest complaint is my base doesn't have the center console handle and it's 100 bucks to buy one from a parts dealer.

Besides a woman giving birth in the front passenger seat, what on earth is that handle good for?
One more place to grab if you feel the need. I have had a hard break or a little bit of a swerve and it seems much more logical to grab that as a comfort than the one on the side of the dash.

Plus I like the look.
