Anyone else planning to run a train horn to one of their AUX switches?

I’m an asshole, I know. But this would only be used for the clowns holding up traffic because they are staring at their phones. Anyone else thought about doing this?

I’m gonna wager a guess you live in the south somewhere. I would love to have one for the comedy aspect but if you used one in a traffic situation up here on the east coast you’d end up shot.

That’s cute.
I live in south Florida. About as east coast as it gets. I challenge anyone to show me a city that has more road rage incidents than the Miami area. Maybe Baltimore or Chicago are close. And we shoot back. Lol

I wanted a musical air horn. La Cucaracha or Dixie. But now I'm really thinking about the train horn AND the police horn idea. I like all of these.

I’ll be installing an aftermarket horn for sure. Just not sure where I’ll mount it. I ordered the 2.3L, so hopefully I can make use of that extra space under the hood.

Looking forward to seeing how other people do their installations!

The only thing I’m considering is if I want it mounted to the aux switches. It would be better to have a switch that is momentarily on rather than 2 position

Aren't the AUX switches detent switches rather than momentary?

EDIT: OBE by above post.

Yup. Which would still work for an air setup. Just not ideal.

I would love to do this. Need to find a viable option, where it is super annoying yet compact. LOL. I would use this in NYC in a heart beat. No one will be able to shoot at me if they are deaf and confused.

I used to have the police horn on my SHO. Just a tap and it was like parting the Red Sea.

Now that is illegal! I had a friend that had a auctioned police cruiser and all the equipment was still installed, just fuses removed. He used to have fun like this too. He even pulled his friend over once. Oh, beautiful car BTW.
