I see you did the Bronco script badges! I just had mine in black chrome delivered. How did you apply them?

There is a template on the website that I used. It was super easy…

Certain things will make me hate a vehicle.

Automatic transmission
Poor acceleration
Bad ergonomics/human factors
Short door and window.
Tiny gas tank

Love my Mustang, except for the horrible visibility out the rear, large A-pillar which hides crossing traffic, small gas tank, and terrible visibility because every other vehicle on the road is 3 ft taller.

Bronco has a Stick - Good
Frameless windows - Good
Decent height - Good
Ford control locations are generally Good.

Electronic Parking brake - Bad
Turbo Engine (turbo lag) - Bad
Tiny Gas Tank - Really Bad

I expect to like my Bronco, but to LOVE it I would need a naturally aspirated V-8 and a gas tank 50% bigger than the one we are getting.

What's funny is rich people driving a Wrangler as a status icon, but then putting up with the driving characteristics of, well, a Wrangler.
I don't think I'm "rich" (relative term) but I have chosen Wranglers for almost 25 years because I think they are cool as hell and wanted to drive a cool car - is that for "status"? I guess? I also know that a Wrangler will drive worse than other similarly priced cars and I "put up" with that because I'd rather have a cool car.
I guess I made your point, although maybe I don't know what your actual point was.

??Only poor people go offroading. Jeeps were built for offroading. Therefore only poor people that offroad should buy Jeeps. ??

Right on!
I'll put about 100k hwy miles on my Bronco and about 100 offroad.

Status symbol my ass.
Been into classic Broncos since I was a POOR broke ass Marine in the late 90's.

I'm freaking thrilled to buy one because they're fucking KOOL and I'll drive that bastard to work every day!

I think I may have just named it ... The Blue Bastard.
LOL

Cool, I got something out of this thread!

yes, i think you nailed it - that may have been his point, which i just don't agree with. If it's cool, it's cool and you can be rich or poor and still dig it.

I'm not cool, rich or poor. But I do have a Bronco on order and own a Wrangler (1989). No point attempting to be made here...

Thats hilarious. We have those all over our neighborhood. Just wish they would get my neighbors yapping dogs.

The one guy has a PETA sticker (People Eating Tasty Animals) on his truck. He also always has his dog in the passenger seat of his truck (wearing a cool bandana). Which is awesome. Maybe I should eat his dog. Just a thought.

Not the least bit worried.

As someone who has only driven family hand-me-downs for 40 years, I have never had the luxury of disliking a vehicle. I am used to tolerating the unpleasant aspects.

Just the fact this one is the first vehicle I will own that I get to pick the color and have a warranty for a few years, is already a guarantee I will like it more than anything else I've ever owned.

I always figured the wife has herself and the kids during the day, so she got "the good car" .
This go around .... I'm getting the Bronco and she gets my hand me down, which is reliable in its own right.
It's a safety thing to me, I'd never jeopardize that because I want a certain freaking car.

I certainly wish she wanted a F250 Crew Cab for a driver though....LOL!

Yep! Buying a car sight unseen is a first for me. With all this time invested it might be one of the dumbest things I’ve ever done. I’m developing a mild form of turrets the longer I wait. The F bombs come outa nowhere 🤷🏻‍♀️
