Has anyone had experience towing yet? Reading conflicting information about tow capcity, is it 3500lbs or 5000lbs? I have a single axle trailer that I believe has a 3500lb axle that I am wanting to tow. Does this include the contents as well?

Watch the TFL video. Granted its only a 2400lb trailer but you’ll find out your other info there. Max towing is 3500lbs/350lb tongue weight.

The TFL guys calculated that their 4dr FE with its options could max tow 3,240lbs. Which is weird that Ford states 3240 but yet the 4dr BL (non-squatch) is 3220 towing with lighter wheels & tires.

Not sure what trim or options you have coming.

Must have to do with the sway portion of the test not the pulling part. Which I'm trying to rationalize but struggling.....regardless, 20lbs difference won't break a Bronco.

You'd think the sas would do worse on the dynamic tests. Unless maybe that 10mm less travel actually helped over the Badlands?

Or the larger sidewall allowed for more flex, or the larger track width helped...or a combination. Who knows it's definitely not a simulation I can run quickly in my head.

These are the kinds of questions I would love to have answered by Ford. Instead they are saying nothing - not even which trims and wheelbases were even tested.

Towed 3100# RV Trailer 2000 mi recently, no problem, no problem towing uphill. Without weight distribution hitch, it wants to sit to low in the rear. It’s a stable towing vehicle, I had to deal with about everything on the trip, including a texter, swerving into my lane going through Salt Lake City, and having to make a radical move to avoid a crash! The only thing I hate, is no towing mirror, same with Ranger. It’s actually worse with the Bronco, because when you hook on to a trailer, it disables, the blind spot monitor. There is no reason to disable it. You can set your mirror, where you can see down the road, alongside the trailer, everywhere except, the blind spot you normally have. Now the mirrors can be set where you don’t have a blind spot, the problem is when they are set that way, you have to move your head all the way over to the window to see, a reasonable distance down the road behind you! The inside mirror, of course is blocked by the trailer. I HATE BUYING A TOW PACKAGE & NOT GETTING TOW MIRRORS, & BRAKES.
