Have a badlands in production and hopefully taking delivery next month. I’d like to swap the stock SAS M/T tires for a good set of A/Ts. I’ll mostly be driving on pavement with the occasional off-road and want something safe for the family in wet and snowy conditions. Anyone have their dealer do this before they took delivery? I was curious if they would put on my tires and maybe even take the stock ones off my hands. Otherwise gotta sell the Goodyears myself.

I swapped mine at the dealership, 2 hours away
Did they buy the stocks off you or you keep them? If they bought curious what they offered.

I have seen a number of dealers swap the tires out plenty of times as part of the deal on delivery. I have not seen them give credit for the "old" tires, though.

Never heard of a Dealer doing that on a New vehicle.
Sounds like an excuse for them to void a warranty claim.
Swapping out tires, especially if he’s just going to a different tread, isn’t going to void any warranty.

Lol, so now we think dealers are going to void warranties over new tires??

OP, best to just call your dealer and ask them. From what I have seen, most won't buy your tires and if they do it is for pennies on the dollar. You will have better luck with Craigslist and FB marketplace.

Picking up mine next week (I hope), already arranged with dealer to swap to BFG KO2'S.
They dont offer anything for the GY's, so I'll be taking mine home to sell.

My dealer offered $800 credit but that was if I did rims and tires. I only wanted tires so I’m using the stock ones until they need to be replaced.

Technically they lose money by voiding warranty.

Dealership put Sasquatch takeoffs on my BD in order to “justify” the markup. Didn’t get the BD steelies or wheels.
