Mine took a few extra days for Safelite to get the OEM glass from Ford but otherwise, it was fine.

It took 2 weeks for ours to be replaced from time of call to insurance company. We chose Caliber auto glass though safelite was an option. Day before the appointment they called and rescheduled as their supplier had to order the Ford OEM glass.

Safelite had a genuine Ford replacement windshield within about three days of mine gettng damaged. They came right out and replaced it in my driveway then we recalibrated the front facing camera under the rearview mirror and I was all set. After watching them take the old one out, I'm convinced that they did a better sealing job than the Ford factory.
In other words, no issues at all, and it was rather painless other than me paying the $250 deductible for my insurance.

Mine was only 3 days from reporting through insurance and replaced at the dealer (contracted to safelight), then only 20 minutes down the freeway when passing car flung a rock and I got the first chip! Ugh!!
