I am not pleased with the communication from this dealership? Anyone else have problems. As large as they are they only have one person that answers questions and when they do its not very responsive and vague. I wish I would get updates, faster response times, anything to let me know that "hey, you are getting close because we've had this many go out the door". Why is that a secret? I regret coming to this dealership but I have to ride it out. If you are from Maxwell, and reading this, please communicate better! Even if it's things I already know and can read on here. Ok.... I'm done and feel better.

I'm out by the Mansfield dam and my order went through Covert, so that's interesting in itself. The guy over at Covert who is in charge of the Bronco's checks in every few months and that's nice, but there's no updates on my particular order. I ordered very late and have a 2 door with all the options that are causing delays, so I get it that I'm way down the line. I'd be curious to know how much info the dealers have themselves......

Sorry to hear. I ordered through Maxwell and so far fine. Their Bronco specialist was pretty knowledgeable, and many had hands on experience due to them servicing the Broncos for the nearby Off-Rodeo (I got to see some in person that were in for oil changes when ordering). Honestly, I dont think there is alot to comment on since they don't control what ultimately gets picked to build. I know when I have checked in the best info is basically what trends they are noticing Ford grabbing from their orders as well as the order banks of others. However most of that info gets shared on this forum in other ways when commodity lists get posted. Where you are on the build list can be hard to say because they will notice random trends in build picks that throw previous ideas out the window, so how do you make predictions when things becoming random or changing weekly?

I hate to say it, but this happens alot to Ford on 1st year builds. I remember the 05 Mustang redesign and the 10 refresh both times hold ups and delays outside of dealer control. I would probably check in with Christine (I believe that was her name) who is their Bronco ordering expert. Then just ask the best way to keep in touch. Keep in mind they are balancing info for us and our Broncos with F150 Lightning orders, Mach e, Maverick, and super duty truck shortages.

Anyway, good luck to you and your OBX. Out of curiosity, how did you configure your build?

+1, call in and ask to talk to Christine. She was more than helpful in talking through modifications that could be made to potentially get a Bronco quicker.

I have had a great experience with Christine Boyd. She has been responsive to emails and has been very cool and easy to work with through multiple order changes and questions.

Mine is with Leif Johnson and I will say that communication via email was absolutely terrible. Nobody knew anything. However, by phone and text it was perfect. Makes me think that emails are routed to someone other than the recipient to parse through and that they don't know what they're doing.

Same, I’ve been working with Leo there and he is generally helpful and knowledgeable when I ping him with specifics but the active communication has been non-existent… My guess is also that the dealers are just as confused as we are about what Ford is doing.

It's pretty comical how bad it is. When I initially wanted to switch to a soft top, I called and spoke to probably 3-4 staff before I talked to Leo. No issues getting it switched at that point. However, I somehow ended up on a used car buyer list and I get emails from Leo asking if I'm still interested in a "Bronco Like" vehicle because they have some in stock. Finally, I emailed back on Thursday that he was my sales guy for a Bronco I already ordered, that he updated that order twice in the last month, and it is currently being built. No response there. Probably out of shame.
