My 97 Montero had jump seats in the way back..... they were awesome. Folded down from the sides and faced forward.

So here's my plan: Use a removeable 3rd Row seat out of a 07-14 Suburban or Yukon, and using some QD brackets off ebay attach it to a fab'd mounting plate that attaches to the tie downs in the back. Disclaimer: I am an idiot and you should never do this. It is VERY VERY unsafe. I'm only using it for off road use for my mother-in-law.

Of course I'm a day one reservation holder and I don't have my Bronco yet, but supposedly it's in production, maybe. If I ever get my Bronco, I'll update my post.

Mini trucks of the 90s would make good seat donors, a lot of them had sideways jump seats.

A jeep rear bench seat might work rear facing too, those are pretty compact.

S10 had some nice fold down side seats.

A friend said that he has seen jump seats added to Jeeps so I would think this could be a possibility.
