I remember seeing them as a kid. Crazy handles !The best jump seats were the ones Subaru put in the bed of the Brat to get around import taxes.
So here's my plan: Use a removeable 3rd Row seat out of a 07-14 Suburban or Yukon, and using some QD brackets off ebay attach it to a fab'd mounting plate that attaches to the tie downs in the back. Disclaimer: I am an idiot and you should never do this. It is VERY VERY unsafe. I'm only using it for off road use for my mother-in-law.
Of course I'm a day one reservation holder and I don't have my Bronco yet, but supposedly it's in production, maybe. If I ever get my Bronco, I'll update my post.
S10 had some nice fold down side seats.Mini trucks of the 90s would make good seat donors, a lot of them had sideways jump seats.
A jeep rear bench seat might work rear facing too, those are pretty compact.
Pics? Sounds coolI am very intrested in this. I maneged to get a 3rd row on my FJ and the young ones love it.
Of course this is not intended to be any kind of endorsement of this kind of behaviour and no one should do it!
