If you did, I don’t think you could fold the rear seats down again, the bottom articulates on the 4 door and I don’t think the 2 door would have space either.

I thought about it and just ended up putting in cargo area. Under the seat it wouldn’t sit flat and you can’t put the seat down at all.

Inquiring minds want to know...
Similar question, but has anyone attempted to use the space designated for the subwoofer in the B&O in a standard soundsystem bronco yet? That is what I will try to do if it is not incredibly complicated.

No real room under the cover in the rear. However, that makes a good space for the amps. Looks like there might be a tailgate box in the works. I was quoted like $500 for a custom box where the B&O sub would go. I'm probably just going with a Kicker downfiring box that I set stuff on.

or what about under the cargo space where spares normally sit
There isn't a spare tire well in the Bronco. It was designed ground up for an externally tailgate mounted setup. There is a small cubby for some tools. Perhaps a levelling rear floor can encompass this area for a small sealed box

That's pretty cool, but I wonder how much added stress the weight would put on the tailgate?
They sell beefed up hinge kits for the Wrangler for those that want to mount bigger tires back there (along with other accessories).... I'm sure there's someone out there designing the same for the Bronco right now.

Found it on Amazon for $119. Might have to just go that route.
