Well. After Franklin Ford went ahead and converted my res to an order without even talking to me I switched dealers. So I now have my reservation at Jannell and a "backup" at Tasca. I want a stick, and at this point I am more comfortable with a my2022. ANyways - just an update.

I called empire yesterday and they told me I couldn’t switch to them. I tried explaining they were wrong but they weren’t having it. Jack madden was helpful but they’re pricing at msrp. I had one dealer tell me that no local dealer was going to tell me how they were pricing the bronco, sounds like a Cabal. Well the search is still on in NE. Anyone have a reservation at Baystate in Easton?
My reservation is at Baystate..... They have sent me an email or two...
I responded more than once with questions about pricing and fees....
No answer....

Yes the response has been Terrible not to mention their knowledge about what’s going on. They’re pricing at MSRP $495 fee

Once a few of us have completed purchase, I'd love to hear of good local ford dealership experiences. Separate thread when the time comes but don't these people realize we're going to need these things serviced?

Being firm on pricing? Completely fine! I get that. I may not buy from you as a result but I didn't have a negative experience....

But being unresponsive or straight up rude? You'll never see my vehicle in your shop for any work. Dunno why that's hard for so many to comprehend.

A friend tried to buy a GT500 at Bay State. They are only 2 miles from my shop. Once it came in they tried to charge him an extra $15k market adjustment. In the end he walked away from it.

You begin to like the model Tesla uses by just buying direct. The dealers are not adding a whole lot to this equation. Still have not gotten any confirmation that my reservation placed by Franklin F was canceled and placed back into reservation only status.

Good luck. The options are getting narrow. I too would like this answered.

It wasnt so much the price, but the service. Tasca just ignored me. Franklin agreed to msrp, but ignored the doc fee question. I’m transfering to Jannell, but I sent an email to a sales guy off their website and it bounced back to me.

It appears most Mass dealers are not excited about this vehicle. Salespeople I've spoken to are not as knowledgeable as this forum. I converted my reservation yesterday and my sales guy was meh. I don't get it, it was like using the self checkout....... Ford should have let us order online, charged us invoice and delivered to our doors.

I'm presently dealing with Bonnell on my Badlands 4-door build. They've been relatively good so far, but I think it's obvious none of these dealers are particularly into this order a car game. They want to move cars on the lot. They're paid on this month's numbers, not future sales of a vehicle they have never even seen. And all this get this at invoice a thousand miles away thing ... yeah, sounds great, then I have another vehicle a thousand miles away. So I'm working with them and we'll see how it goes. Having a dealer that is close buy for service and the like going forward is what I'm going for. Fingers crossed ...
