I’ve alredy addressed the issues with my service department but thought I’d ask to see if anyone has noticed crazy bad gaps in the hood/fender area?

You can really see it on the pictures below there’s an almost 1/4” “dip” in the middle of the hood on the passenger side where it meets the fender. Also from head on there’s a gap big enough to fit my index finger (again passenger side) between the grill and hood. It’s like a 1/8” on the driver side?

EDIT: Hood replaced under Ford warranty!

The hood was actually here a couple months back but I (along with the shop) was dragging my feet on painting and installing it in hopes of avoiding the salt/sand on the roads right now.

Overall I’m very happy with the results, both fit and finish (pint match). It helps that my dealership happens to use the same shop I do, so I personally know the guys who work there and they’re very good at what they do!

I don’t think that’s acceptable. You need to get with dealer to have body shop make it right. SMH

Your hood almost looks dented in/concaved on the passenger side. Mine sits lower on the passenger side vs the driver side too, but it is not as bad nor is there a dip in the center like yours. It is even for the length of the hood.

Yeah, that’s not supposed to be like that. Mine doesn’t have that dent.

Thet is a bend, not an alignment issue. That is probably why it sits high on the passenger side at the front. Dealer should fix or replace it.

My hood sits slightly lower than fender top edge of both sides equally. Visible from drivers seat but others on here have said ot is normal

Under the hood there are 2 black rubber pads on threads you can twist them up or down. They are near the corners by grille

We'll see what the body shop says.

At the end of the day I'm happy to have my bronco and at least I can enjoy my truck while awaiting a fix!

I have a very very similar issue. Same spot but on the drivers side.

I decided to forgo having the dealership do anything - figured their body shop would make it worse (alum hood) or a replacement and repaint would not match

Ford is going to replace the hood, no ETA yet as I just got word a “warped” hood is well within the warranty!

wow your lucky. I figured Ford would say the tolerances are within spec. I had gaps much worse than that on my Ranger and they wouldn't fix it.

After reading the entire thread I see the dent/warping now. I’ve noticed misalignment with mine too, but haven’t noticed anything like your dent/warp. I will be attempting to adjust using the 2 rubber things like slohatch mentioned. Thanks for posting!
