Also keep in mind that the stock Badlands trim comes with KO2s.

Granted the Badlands has a 17” wheel instead of an 18” wheel… but it’ll give you a general idea of how it looks on the Bronco.

susan,
yes, ditched the factory wheels (yuk!).
changed to 17 inch Recons. does not have squatch.
wheels and tires were expensive, i'm thinking $3000 range.
has the 4wp level kit (2" front, 1" rear) on 34.4" K02 tires. no rub issues.
jay (granger), service mgr was willing to give $500 for the 5 factory wheels/tires. everything was done at granger before i had it shipped. i have a 2 door rapid red banks coming to granger ?when. build date supposed to be oct 30, then takes about a month to get to granger. when is your banks being built? bruce

Yeah, would like to go down to 17s but the cost is making me think the 18s will be fine, especially if I paint them gloss black (to match the grill) or matte black (to match the MIC roof and blend in with the tires, which probably won't be shiny very often). Also looking at a similar lift/level.

That's good feedback on Granger. Please post photos when it's done. Mine won't be built for a while - earliest July, latest Q1 2023 I'm thinking. This allocation mess had me outraged for a while, especially after 2-doors were pushed out and AMB was discontinued, but now I've just settled in and am hoping Ford works out all the bugs while I earn interest on my downpayment.

just saw my window sticker for the 2 door is up. outer banks is such a good bargain. i wanted the advanced 4wd, high pkg, and roast interior to go with rapid red. my gut feeling is that ford has a lot of bugs and supply constraints fixed. i have no data, but when october production figures come out this will tell us. ford built ~25k broncos june-sept. about 6k/month. if they can get to full production, 10k+/month, in 2022 then my guess (hope) is that granger allocations will not be as limited as ford is implying, and they would have little reason not to fill reservists' orders.

November Production Good! 10k+ Broncos Built; Now Their Cookin'.
Maybe not at full production yet; but, at 10k/month, Ford should be able to fill all reservist's orders in 2022.
Bronco November 2021 Sales & Production Highlights
  • Bronco Sales (November): 8,287 vehicles. Sales (YTD): 25,855 vehicles.
    • November sales represent a 12.5% increase over October.
  • Bronco Production (November): 10,504 vehicles. Production (YTD): 43,711 vehicles.
    • November production represents a 37% increase over October.

@Southern Girl put 275/70/18 KO2s on her OBX. She later added a lift, but the tires didn’t rub before the lift.

Here’s her summary post about it:
First picture is stock Outer Banks and the second picture is after a 1" lift and new tires (see details on tires below). The lift was not required for the tires.

Original:
I found a Bronco for sale in my area and I purchased it until my MOD top will be built in 45 years. This is a 2.7L Iconic Silver 4 door non-SAS with roast interior and mid package.

I LOVE THIS VEHICLE! I have a number of modifications I am considering including a tire swap with my 275 KO2s and possibly some vinyl wrap detailing.

(There is a piece missing that came off during transport. It's being painted this week and sent to me from the dealer.)

9/23: This is why I can't get in and out without sand getting inside my Bronco. This is a dirty beast. I am in desperate need of mud flaps with no hope in sight!

Thanks everyone. Think I’m placing KO2 on my OuterBanks. They are not mud tires but look better than the stick Dullers

I put KMC Roswells on my OBX with 285/70 R17 Toyo AT3 tires. Had to remove crash bars to avoid rubbing. Only issue I had was tire place underinflated them. Once I added 5psi to each tire, it rode beautifully. I have slimmer bars on order.
