If they offer a Ford 2" lift kit similar to the Ranger, it would have the following
  • New aluminum FOX shock bodies are designed to provide ample cooling capacity over rough terrain
  • New front coilover springs deliver optimal spring rate
  • Vehicle-specific upper front mounts with polyurethane bushings work to help isolate noise and vibration
  • 2-inch front lift levels the truck from front to rear
I believe they are charging $1,495 + installation for that. I can't find anywhere what the installation cost would be. Does anyone have any ideas on what we could expect the dealer to charge for installation?

Whether or not this factory lift is listed (and priced) when B&P rolls out is my number 1 B&P concern. Tell me I'm not the only one?

Whether I can get B&O sound as a standalone option instead of going with Lux is a close second (but trying to stay on topic) ....

No Ford Performance Parts are part of the DIO program.
At this point we don't even know that a lift is going to be offered. Guess we will find out on Friday....

I may be wrong, but I dont believe Ford Performance Parts are listed on the main Ford website for any B&P. You can check Ranger or F-150 to see if their leveling kits are listed there. Typically this is due to Federal safety regulations that apply to OEM manufacturers and they use departments like Ford (or Jeep) Performance Parts as a sales outlet for customer wants but cannot tie the two offerings together.

You maybe right. I did a quick B&P of a Ranger and no mention of any lift kits in the exterior packages or accy's. Hopped over to Ford Performance website and they list 3 different lift kits for the Ranger. Still, I am allowed to be an optimist until Friday and then B&P can kick me in the nuts.

Agreed,,,, and honestly, if you want a 37, a body lift will accomplish that cheaper and give you a great fender clearance look. It is not as functional offroad but that may not be your main concern

noob. Lolz. Body lifts look like shit. If you want to potentially weaken the structure truck and misfitting parts just to clear bigger tires, well....

1” at most. I’ll laugh at your huge body/frame gaps.

An F-350 with 4" of space off the frame kinda sounds like a 450lb wife tbh. But that does come down to perspective.

If B&P gets pushed past Friday, we all may just kill each other ...

I'm not personally a fan of big body lifts either, but I think a small puck/levelling kit aka body lift may look ok on the Bronco. Especially seeing how stuffed the wheel wells look with 35s on a non-squatch suspension. Still trying to budget for a modest suspension lift myself.
