I've been searching for some official note on this myself & have come up with nothing.
This is the only thing I found......

You’ll want 4.70s if you plan on getting decent fuel economy, anything less and your fuel economy will be in the teens as the engine struggles with the gearing disadvantage.I don't need 4.70 so if i can get 35's and a 2" lift that's what i'll do.
Facts! I’m mid teens in my F150 with 35s... granted mine is the 5.0 Coyote and 3.73 gears. You’ll want 4.70s if you plan on getting decent fuel economy, anything less and your fuel economy will be in the teens as the engine struggles with the gearing disadvantage.
Careful you may bite off more then you can chew. Been running 37's for years now...Yes!! Every time I park, I’m gonna scope the lot for Jeeps first. ?
Well when it comes to any Lift I haven't seen anything concrete as to what is available. None of the numbers seem to add up so where did people even get the idea there was a 2" lift? Other than "High Clearance Suspension" I haven't seen numbers
There’s two separate lifts there’s the Sasquatch lift which minus tires is about 1.2” iirc and then there’s a dealer installed lift available for 2”.Well when it comes to any Lift I haven't seen anything concrete as to what is available. You can combine the sas+ 2” or you can just put the 2” on any truck. That’s my understanding of the options. Don’t ask me to find source material I’m just going off of information I’ve seen piled together over the last month.
We now know one of the Cyber Orange Broncos showcased had a 2” lift on 37s, which looks great. Is anyone considering a factory lift? I really like the look of 2 door over the 4 door but with 35s instead of 37s. What would be the positives and negatives of a lift?
Thanks for that bit of info. How hard will 4.70 be on the engine when tooling down the highway at 80?You’ll want 4.70s if you plan on getting decent fuel economy, anything less and your fuel economy will be in the teens as the engine struggles with the gearing disadvantage.
Well wait... so the 2dr has a 2" lift and 37's... but the 4dr has no lift and 35's?We now know one of the Cyber Orange Broncos showcased had a 2” lift on 37s, which looks great. Not hard at all, the bigger the tire the lower your RPM goes to go at a certain speed, by going steeper gears you are gaining back that RPM, and if you can a little extra RPM to make up for added weight of tires. Thanks for that bit of info. Thanks! The 2.7 has been my plan all along. Not hard at all, the bigger the tire the lower your RPM goes to go at a certain speed, by going steeper gears you are gaining back that RPM, and if you can a little extra RPM to make up for added weight of tires.
For example my H2 came with 4.10 gears and 315/70 tires (34.4) achieved about 11.5MPG, moving up to 37s my fuel economy dropped to 10.5 and the engine struggled up hills dropping down a gear often. The engine struggled because the RPMs going lower from bigger tires put it out of the nominal engine power range.
I moved to 4.56 gears and the RPMs are higher than stock and the truck cruises up hills without shifting with 37s. Fuel economy is up to 13.5 which is higher than stock.RPMs on the 6.0L at 80MPH is 2,450RPM.
On a small 4 cylinder you may need 2,600-2,800 RPM to cruise at 80 with 37s.
