Went with Coyote Accessories - $200 for all 4 corners shipped (found a pair NIB on eBay for $50). Shipping from Coyote is pricey ($31.50 for pair or $45 for all 4)- but, they’re heavy. I get it.

I wanted to see if I even liked it before dropping $350 on Bora. They seem well made. Billet and conical lugs.

1.5” is the perfect amount. It’s weird - but, feels more stable around sharp turns. Dunno if it’s in my head or if 3” really makes that much of a difference.

I have read that spaers will add wear and tear to your wheel bearings. How is this any different than buying wheels with a zero or negative offset?

No difference.

Assuming that the spacers are bolted up well, the net location of the wheel (offset) is the only thing that matters (+55 stock / +30 stock SAS). Farther out, more stress on the bearing.

I would not be the least bit concernd until you start moving into negative numbers...

I had 0.75" Boras on mine with sasquatch wheels and they were perfect. I did not have to alter the factory studs either as those wheels have recesses in them.

I was speaking to a Jeep owner I know, he was telling me that tire shops won't work on your wheels/tires if you have spacers installed?
That is simply not true. I had them on my old 4Runner and had them on the bronco for a bit as well and never had any tire shop refuse to do anything. I had them at dealerships and discount tire multiple times.

We wanted to chime in on this to provide clarity, at least on our stores best practices.

Our stores are happy to offer services on vehicles running spacers as long as they meet the following criteria

Provided there are at least seven full turns of thread engagement, spacers and adapters can be serviced/installed.
  • Adapters cannot change the current bolt pattern
  • Adapters cannot change the stud/bolt diameter.
  • Adapters must have seven full turns of thread engagement
Should one of these not be met, our store would not be able to offer any service on the vehicle.

Please feel free to reach out if we can be of any further assistance.

Thank you @Bird Dog Overland for your business and support!

Wheels with desired offset is easier, better and maintains pressure points at the hub, while increasing poke.......

Bringing this back from the dead, can someone please take picture. Looking into the rim or down towards where the spacer meets the rotor.
Thank you

Interesting. I was told we needed to do 1.5" spacers minimum....anything less would require trimming the oem lugs so the rim will set on the spacer flat. Guess that's incorrect?

Depends on what wheels you are running. The optional BL wheels and the Squatch wheels have pockets on the back side that are deep enough to accept the lug poke. Scroll back through the thread for an example pic.
