Has anyone here seen Hot Pepper Red in person? Rapid Red was my original choice, but it's been deleted for 2022. I've got to make another selection.

The Rangers I've seen you can see the orange in the paint when the sun shines on it. Like anything it's a matter of taste. Myself I like the Rapid Red better, and the old Ruby Red the best.

I've seen it on a Ranger. Really good looking color red/orange with a ton of metallic flakes.

Have seen HPR in person quite a bit for Ranger as it was the pre-release color (stoked enough sales for the color to be discontinued very quickly). It is..... Well it's a confusing color.
Why aren't you red? This is HPR at the only lighting and angle where the car is actually red. Beautiful shade.
The rest of the time, you have a brown vehicle.

I’ve seen multiple Rangers in that color, and when I reordered my Bronco for 2022 the dealer had a Maverick in hot pepper red.
It’s kind of a chameleon color. In the shade under most lightning conditions it looks more race red than anything else. In the sun there is an orange “glimmer” (for the lack of a better word) to it that gives it an orangish brownish red look.

If I hadn’t got my CO scheduled would have switched to HPR……… my ST is rich copper and I love that color.

Seems like the same, or very close to, my Blazer RS Cayenne Pepper. Lighting is the main factor.
It can go from red looking, to more orange with high flakes, to almost brownish looking.

I think Bronco Nation was driving one in a recent YouTube video.
I saw a Ranger in that color. A very nice red while in the shade, and when the sun came out suddenly bright orange. Cool color.
I saw a Ranger over the weekend and definitely changes with lighting. Think I am going to switch from Velocity Blue to this now! Here is a link to the video mentioned above.
