When I finally get mine I’d like to make one in the wood shop (to look similar to the previous posted pics). I’ll keep you all posted.

Osage for the cyber orange trucks, or badlands trim… padauk for any red trucks… I’m torn for mine (A51 badlands). Cocobolo, zebra, or walnut would be cool… or maybe some sort of glue up… is it weird that I’m drooling right now🤤

Who’s that for Travis pastrana?
Me. I had a bunch of fortune events that had 199 come into play somehow in relative succession. My broncos VIN ends in 199… for example.

Osage is local PA wood too!!! Glue ups could be amazing. I think there’s a big market for custom glue ups. Team colors. Bronco colors. Etc…..

You are going to make me buy a mini lathe. I’m supposed to be saving for long travel.

I was considering iron meteorite as it’s gucci AF with a Timascus cap over the bolt hole built similar to stock in principle. It’s the most outrageous thing I can come up with.

I’d do amber or full Timascus with tritium inlays if I had endless payroll.

it appears it has threads inside the shaft. So if you made a knob with a stud inside hanging down…..you are gold
nice...thx. If you are tearing it apart, you mind posting a pic of the shaft?

Soul crushing. This is going to be way harder than I thought.

It’s keyed to prevent twisting.

It has a recess that needs to be the a specific depth for reverse lockout.

It bolts down with a screw.

The top cap has three tangs to hold it on. And no room to play with “inside” it’s little recess. Top cap isn’t just a “plug” like I was hoping.

Maybe strip the stock knob down to plastic and put a Timascus or whatever cap over it?
