Has anyone tried the Goodyear Wrangler DuraTrac, 315/70R17, "D" Rated Tire? I am not sure if this is a new size offering from Goodyear, as I haven't noticed it in the past. I am particularly interested in a "D" rated tire. There has been so much discussion about "C" and "E" rated tires and there are a few "D" rated tires out there, and even "F" rated tires. With regard to this DuraTrac, I am most interested in anyone's reviews concerning handling abilities/traction in the rain and road noise.

I appreciate anyone's input.

Great tire, on and off road. They get loud when it's time to rotate, but if you do rotate, they last a long time.

Is there actually a 36x12.50 or is that a 37x12.50 that ā€œmeasuresā€ 36ā€ actually ā€¦.??

If itā€™s a 36ā€ ā€˜sized tireā€™ that measures in the mid 35ā€ range then it might be an option for SAS Broncos without having to do any lift; just curious of what it REALLY is !! Thx

Had them in 33s on a truck and didn't like them. Terrible traction and very loud.

Definitely not a new size. I have them in this size my Bronco also went through two sets this size on my previous vehicle. No complaints. I've run a lot of different makes of larger sized tires over the past 40+ years. Duratraks have had the least issues.

I run them studded on both my Raptor and Bronco in the winter. Great tire but they do get a bit louder as they wear out. Does not bug me and they do well in rain/wet conditions.

Ran them on my '17 PowerWagon. Good tire, really, though a tad loud at speed. Never had any traction issues. They aren't snow tires but they bite pretty decently in it that I never had a problem.

I got mine mounted up this week and will say that they feel more planted than the factory territory MT. The tires definitely give a more firm ride, but it is not hard by any means. We do light to moderate off roading ā€œup to level 3 marked trailsā€ in Arkansas and Tennessee so I feel these will do excellent for that as the factory territory did fine. If I was going on be doing more extreme off roading with sharp rocks I would say this tire is not for that as it has a 2 ply sidewall and I would look at something like the KM3 or Mickey Thompson Baja boss MT. These tires look larger than the factory territory unmounted and also mounted, but that could just be due to the wear of the factory tires.

Really good when new, get loud over time. Need to be diligently rotated or can develop odd wear patterns making them even louder. Main issue is that it's an old design now and there are many newer designed (better) tires available.

I put the Duratracs on our BadLands Sas after the rocker panels got torn up from the rock throwing stock GYs by 4K miles. The Duratracs are a superior tire in every aspect and better suited for the Bronco in my opinion. Especially if you offroad and live in an area with severe weather. This set on the Bronco makes my 8th set on various trucks including a few Wranglers and as others have said, they will get loud if you donā€™t rotate them. But, not near as loud as the STT Pros. Those things become deafening after 20k miles. I have found that if I rotate the Duratracs every 3500 to 5000 miles they wear really well and donā€™t get loud from cupping. We got 53,000 miles out of the set we just replaced on my wifeā€™s Expedition. Also, the tread width is 1.5ā€ wider on the Duratracs, which I think look much better.

They look good on there. I was debating switching to General Grabber ATx's...but these might sway me.
