Anyone wish Ford kept a traditional tailgate design? Think they will bring it back?

With all of the fancy schmancy tailgaits they are putting on full size trucks, there isn't a reason Ford couldn't make the tailgait on the Bronco multi-fucntional. It could swing open or fold down. Best of both worlds.

The tailgate/swing gate option is quite limited due to the removable roof. Please don’t bring up the old Blazers & Broncos with removable roofs w/roll up glass….those tailgates were heavy and the Bronco is already weight challenged

I agree ours was soooo effing heavy! I'd like Ford to keep the current top designs and give the option for a drop.down tailgate with separate swinging tire.carrier for those of us who'd prefer it. The side swinging gate features detents that the tire carrier.could as.well.
