Holy sheisse the 2-3 people on here crying at their mommas breast can certainly bomb a thread. Here's an idea! Cry silently and leave this thread for actual updates.

Waiting 8 months for a product that was supposed to have an 8-week lead time is definitely frustrating. It’s even more concerning when the last update was 8 weeks ago, especially given all the other delays AR is experiencing with their products.
As a big AR supporter who has bought almost everything they’ve made for the Bronco, this situation feels different. The lack of communication from Curtis and unanswered emails are making it even more worrying.
This thread is here to discuss the AR Gear Jammer. While some reactions may be a bit extreme, everything being said is still relevant. So here’s a thought—try to show a little empathy instead of getting upset about others expressing their frustrations!

It is different, they’ve gone radio silent. It’s bullshit, I don’t give a shit how busy you are you can answer emails and messages appropriately. The fact that there’s no phone number should have been the warning sign.

test.
interesting that the posts about their issues with unpaid taxes/Dept of Revenue were deleted.

Posts 487, 489, 492, and 493. POOF!!

You can see the other posts around there, referencing it. But, those are gone.

If you’re a forum sponsor, I guess you can sensor the forums.
The poster who made those original posts has been completely eliminated from the Forum. Can't tell if it was a "Nuclear Ban" or by his own choice.

Can you imagine if this comment was posted earlier days in the ADV hardtop thread?

Opinions of concern should be shared, especially as a potential heads up to others.

If you haven’t been getting responses via direct email, try sending a ticket through their website’s ā€œcontact usā€ link. I’m sure it goes to the same inbox, but might flag it higher priority. I got a response that way today. Make sure to include your order number. Good luck everyone!
I now realize that it was probably just a coincidence that I got a reply from AR. It wasn’t a direct email from a person, just confirmation that my knob was shipping (which is what I asked for in my communication through the website.) Maybe it was my request that triggered AR to ship of few of these out…who knows.

I got it in the mail yesterday. I like it. It’s not perfect. But I like it. Not holding my breath for the lockout piece.

Y’all, please don’t stop the banter. It’s so entertaining to read.

In all seriousness, none of this process was normal or acceptable. I hope AR figures out how to move forward and develop a good reputation, even for the ā€œlittle guyā€ like me.

Interesting. I was pretty critical of the company who shall remain nameless and just noticed that I had a bunch of my posts deleted. Could be collateral damage of the other poster being disappeared, or targeted at my specific sentiments. Tough to tell. Didn't receive any warnings nor notifications.

Oh well... on to other topics I guess.

It looks like there a crack in the silver powder coat to me
Looks like it to me, too.

See, this is what happens when you rush artists.

I apologize because I assumed 2 months is ridiculous
But the realty is they rushed it
It. I feel responsible
Had the powdercoater been allowed another couple months it wouldn’t be cracked

send it, bespoke, white knight, I spend my money how I want, veteran, ponzi

I hope I got it all tagged correctly

There’s no defect in the powder coat (to my knowledge) or functionality of the knob.

It’s mainly aesthetic things that may be typical of a ā€œhandmadeā€ item like this. I’m no expert.

The logo is crooked and the etching(?) is misaligned (I’m assuming they do it twice). Makes me think I’m seeing double.

Some of the shift pattern edges are sharp and some are smooth. I can definitely feel it while shifting.

The design of the adapter is meh. Wish there was a locking mechanism so you don’t have to guess where the perfect position is when twisting it on. Maybe their lockout design is supposed to make the installation easier.

Hear me out, I like it and can appreciate some uniqueness's on a ā€œhandmade,ā€ bespoke piece. I was just a little surprised by them.

It’s the perfect height and weight, shifting is smoother, and (if you don’t get too close šŸ˜‰) looks great on the bronco.
