As some of the ADV pre-order buyers found out that there is a limit to execute a chargeback. Credit card companies aren't obligated to indefinitely offer such a service.

I know when I’ve filed chargebacks they review the terms I agreed to on the sale, the communication I have had and there’s a time limit, 60-90 days is longest I’ve seen. And I’ve had more than one deny the chargeback

but if there’s a simpler way you have done it or a credit card that is easier I’m willing to look into it

I guess it depends on the credit card. If you file it within the time limit and you received nothing for your money I think your chances are good. It could probably be argued in court but the credit card company is going to have a lot more money for lawyers.
If it's something like kickstarter and it explicitly says you may never get the product it's probably different. I didn't read the terms and conditions, maybe it's something like that.
The terms of service look pretty gnarly but if you're buying a shift knob I think that would be considered goods rather than services. It says something about they're not responsible for legal fees but I think you can only be reimbursed for legal fees if you win.

The local police where Archetype Racing is located.

The company is still collecting orders and taking money. They are not responding to emails or phone calls. And, they’re not delivering orders.

I’d think the local police would want to know this. This is a brick and mortar business in their county.

I’m at least putting in a call.

I ordered a white-bread, black unit sometime back (reminds me of the shifter in the truck I drove 40 years ago). Given the delays I just installed a similar heavy aluminum unit from Twisted Shifterz. Not nearly as nice as the custom work done by the AR team, but much much better than OEM. This will tide me over for an long as it takes for AR to resolve their issues.

Did you get the v1 or v2 adapter? The v2 makes the shifter the same height as OEM - that's what I ordered. Evidently the v1 is higher than OEM.

Oh they didn’t have that option when I got mine. I’ve had this for a year and half

I just got a stainless one and didn't have that option.
The jam nut bugs me, I'd like to make it smoother, somehow.

Got it. No jam nut on mine, it came with Vibra-Tite 121 Medium Strength Threadlocker. Same as Loctite 242: removable with hand tools.
