Yes. The STIRRUPS will mount to any of the brackets.
Holy cow you guys are KILLING IT!!

dangit now I got to decide!! 🤣🤣🤣

Any word on how much weight the Stirrup with the grip mount will hold? In case I have heavier passengers want to make sure I don’t need the drilled version.

Also Curtis when do you think we’d have to notify you by if we want to change our order?

Thanks again man this is freaking awesome

The STIRRUP GRIP bracket has been reinforced for downward force. In that sense, it’s closer to equal to the bolt on brackets. Essentially, it will support the weight of anything that can stand on it.

It has a lot less strength in an upward force. Say, if you slide over a log or a large rock. You’re really reliant on the clamping force of 3 M8 bolts that are driving themselves into the rock rail. Obviously, the tighter you make those bolts, the more secure the hold. There comes a point where you will begin to deform the bracket or indent the rail. For that, there will be a torque spec for the bolts in the installation instructions.

To make any changes to any order, email [email protected] with your order or invoice number and the change you’d like to make.

@EIGHTLUG this STIRRUP GRIP is exactly what I was mentioning before. Looks awesome and the STIRRUP modeled on the Cactus Gray makes it even better. I am in line for a 22 2D BL or possibly beyond, but I plan on looking you guys up when it’s my time. 👏🏼 Bravo

Hey Curtis,
As I have never seen the rock rails in person yet, how does your Graphite Black coating match up to the OEM finish?
They will be powder coated as dead nuts as possible. I'm going for a seamless OEM look.

If Ford sources their black pigment from some factory in the middle of the remote jungles of South America, I'll hire a guide and find that powder factory, like Denzel Washington in American Gangster.

@EIGHTLUG - I know you changed ETA on delivering these. When is the deadline to be able to decide on bracket? I’d like to see photos of them mounted on the vehicle before making a final decision. Keep it up!!

Barring any shipping issues from SoCal to me, I plan to have a set on our R&D Bronco the week of Thanksgiving for pictures. One side will be the machined top surface and one side will be solid black. Then, due to the modularity of the design, once the drop brackets are machined, I can get those fitted up for pictures too.

*Due to the 'on the fly' nature of this project and there now being so many options that weren't available at kickoff, I'll swap parts for those that are in on the pre-order, no questions asked. We can work out the fine details later.

Excellent those are the little design elements that I am looking for. Looking forward to seeing the real deal.
On the topic of design details any thoughts on a version where the hole pattern is similar to the badlands grill?
