Do we have to create bolt holes in order to have these attach? I am 99% there and would want the drop due to adding a lift in the future.
JetG, You will have to drill into the rails to attach them.

If you ordered and received the steps and later decided that you want the drop, will it require new holes to be drilled or will they align with the original holes?

a video of someone using both when you have them would help us make a decision.

also, any concerns with the steps being slippery? I think the exposed metal looks great but it would not look good if I needed to add grip tape on top.

Question 1- Same holes. Modular Design is my middle name. ;)

Question 2- Think of those aluminum tread plate running boards on the old 80's F150s. We had them on our farm truck. They weren't slippery by nature, but if it was icy or you had mud on you feet, you didn't have the best grip. I think that would be true, across the board, for any step. The STIRRUPS are pocketed so if you were off road with a hiking boot or a shoe with agressive soles, I think you'll be okay. The tread on your shoe would 'lock into' the recesses of the top surface and you'd be fine.

SEND IT pls & thank you @EIGHTLUG!

All the AR things! Late to the party on this one.

Still pretty new to off-roading and not sure if it's up your alley, but I haven't seen much chatter about aftermarket limb-risers (e.g. like on the pre-prod cyber orange 2-door demo).

Yes, these too! Bold and similier to your stirrup design. Include top design to add a light or two?
