I'm ready to buy an ARB dual air compressor, but am undecided on what mount to pair it with. Do any of you have any experience with, or feedback on the pros and cons of the current options on the market? Did I miss any of them?

KR Off-Road Bracket
https://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-arb-compressor-engine-bay-mount-for-2021-ford-bronco/

This seems to be the first one to market, has good reviews, and is probably the "safe" option.

JCR Off-Road Bracket
https://www.jcroffroad.com/product/...niuapchuPym7IK6FX560Jp4-c6gTQnPYaAkaLEALw_wcB

Looks pretty similar to the KR bracket, though the support mount is different. Possibly better, but w/ a somewhat more involved install process?

SDHQ Bracket
https://offroadalliance.com/SDHQ-AR...w1CtPfSl60FnUZW0l-Wm8ynIIXHUfnqgaAoclEALw_wcB

Mounts vertically rather than horizontally and seems to be more tucked away. Requires relocation of the ECU. I don't know of anyone using it, nor do I know what the install process is like.

Grimm Bracket
https://trailrecon.com/grimm-offroa...-mounting-bracket-kit--bronco-2021-10387.html

Trail Recon speaks highly of this option, though he also sells it FWIW. Seems to be most similar to the SDHQ bracket in mounting position/orientation, but with more of a cage around it.

Desert Does It Mount
https://desertdoesit.com/products/cargo-compressor-mount-2021-2022-ford-bronco

This one mounts in the rear cargo area, which can't hurt compressor longevity. On the other hand, it would be noisy in the cabin while in use. My biggest concern is running adequate wiring to it, since I suspect I'll need to go to the battery? Is the ARB-supplied wiring harness even long enough? It's the least expensive of the ones I've found, but that's not a high priority among my selection criteria.

This will be my first experience with on-board air compressor, so I appreciate any feedback from those of you with more knowledge and experience on this subject!

I have the KR mount and so far so good. Wiring is perfect length to reach the battery.

I probably would have gotten the JCR mount but they got beat by KR due to timing of the release. The JCR stuff I have is absolute top quality.

I would not get a mount that puts the compressor in the cab. These compressors are super loud, I have two dogs and it would not be good to run it with them (or a person) in the cab.

ARB has their own mounting option that they are (supposedly) working on. So I've been stalling until I see what that looks like. Based on the pre-release photos it looks similar to JCR/KR bracket, but we'll see.

Assuming the ARB mount is subparā€”or I get tired of waitingā€”I personally will be going with the Grimm bracket. I was strongly considering the option @Johnny Mo posted, but... I just don't want to run thick gauge cables all the way to the back of vehicle, and no doubt it'll get dusty/dirty back there during adventures.

I really want to like the vertical mounting options, but I'm 100% against mounting one of the vehicle's modules to the same bracket as a shaky compressor. If there's one thing that sensitive electronics hate, it's vibration. Well, that and heat. And moisture.

Two out of three of those things will come with sharing a bracket with a compressor.

Looks wise, and space-savings-wise, I still love the vertical mounting. Hopefully someone comes up with a solution that doesn't require solid mounting a module to the rattle trap.

We designed the very first commercially available mount (and filed a patent on it so we're currently patent pending). And I do believe we (KR Off-Road) make the very best mount and the easiest mount. We actually use 10 gauge stainless steel (not regular steel, STAINLESS STEEL) and then powder coat it. The stainless steel is very heavy duty and we opted for this because we wanted something very strong that would survive forever. We also provide a lifetime warranty with our brackets. They are manufacturered right here on Long Island as well.

We also have very good pricing on them. $249.99 retail but you can use coupon code BRONCO6G and save 10% on your entire kit, so you save a lot of cash.

Our kit is also the eaiest to install.

You can't go wrong with our KR Off-Road Bracket: https://www.4x4truckleds.com/kr-off-road-arb-compressor-engine-bay-mount-for-2021-ford-bronco/

My 2nd choice would be the SDHQ mount, but it's going to be a bit more involved and requiress you to relocate a few things. Honestly our mount is by far the most popular not only because we were first to market but because of the quality and easy of installation. It's truely the simplest bolt-on kit on the market.

About how long (and how difficult) is it to install the ARB dual with the KR Off-Road bracket? Thank you.

It's pretty easy. It's all bolt-on.

It re-uses 4 factory bolts (3 on the fender easy to get to and then 1 strut bolt, which is easy to get to as well).

Pretty easy. Check out this install video here:

Thanks! This does seem very easy. I found the install instructions on KR Offroad's website too. I'll likely be purchasing this setup. Thank you.

The ARB mount seems to have the best support location for their mount (support goes to the firewall). Not sure if it is actually for sale yet though . I fabricated my own mount but would probably go with ARB if I didn't.
ARB's mount seems overly complicated......taking apart the wheel well, removing the computer module, etc.
