I'd rather spend $2k on these than a light bar across the roof. I was never a fan of the roof mounted light bar.

Yellow/Amber please? White lights are useless to me wheeling through the desert.

All these fancy high dollar lights out there...and yet they all still use garbage Cree emitters. If I can't swap dedomed Nichia 519a 4500k emitters into any aftermarket lights, I don't want em. They are the best LED emitters available right now, and only flashlight nerds like me know about them. I hope one day to have a Bronco headlight assembly to tear down and see if I can swap the emitters to something warmer like the 519a emitters. /end nerd rant.
$$$$$$$!?

I'm still a fan of the ARB Intensity Solis lights. That's what I plan to go with on my Badlands at some point.

Learn something new everyday! Any pod light or bar you can recommend ? Or do you just look for ones that can be modded for max performance?
I have taken apart cheap Chinese light bars before, but swapping emitters on one of those bad boys would be a monumental task. I haven't tried yet with any offroad lights, but I've modded a few flashlights with these and they output a BEAUTIFUL beam. If you want to go down the rabbit hole, check out reddit.com/r/flashlight. I truly dream of a day that emitters like these would be adopted enmasse for car headlights and offroad lights, but we're not there yet. If I had the time and resources, I would start my own operation towards this effort.

In my opinion lights are a piece of safety equipment and should be carefully considered as such. Spending $1800 on something that can prevent accidents, deer strikes, etc seems like a no brainer to me. People spend a lot of money on here to make their bronco look ‘cooler’ but less functional. Driving lights can probably do most things light bars and pod lights can do but for sure don’t look as cool.

ARB is Australian and Australia has very strict regulations on vehicle modifications with safety being the #1 priority. It’s why ARB bumpers are crash tested. I believe there are regulations on lights as well.

Those are pretty sweet. Can move from high speed to cruise to normal night driving on the fly.

On the lumens is that per light or the set? I’m assuming per light?

And amp draw?
The lumens listed are per light.

Amp draw is 12.9A per light.

You aren't wrong but I'd say 99/100 people that are buying lights are in it for #2 not #1

Soooo... you can get a full 50'' KC lightbar, or two of these.
No contest. I'd take 2 of these over a bar.
That said, I'm set in the lighting department. Rigid 6" 360 (2), Lightforce 170 (2), Lightforce ROK 10 (2), Diode Dynamics SSC2 (2), & finally DD SS12 (1).
But a pair of these ARBs would clean up my shit along with a set of fogs.
