Ford Bronco ARB Jack Tailgate Mount for the Ford Bronco 09-arb-bronco-interior

There is no doubt that the mechanical jack has become an essential tool in the off-road world. Developed in 1905, its original name was the handyman jack. Although it was designed as a farm tool, the off-road community saw its potential. They began using it to move vehicles out of awkward situations, lift tires to fill voids, and as a bead breaker for tire repair. It was a revolutionary piece of technology for off-roaders. However, they haven’t changed much since 1905.

Mechanical jacks can be dangerous when not maintained or used properly. They are terrifyingly unstable and can unload at any moment. A quick online search will provide plenty of examples of users getting struck by the handle or getting their fingers caught between the body and handle.

ARB’s team of engineers were tasked with finding a solution that would suit every off-roaders needs for vehicle recovery. Incorporating the most essential functions of a mechanical jack while making safety the main priority, ARB developed Jack.

The ARB Jack is a long-travel hydraulic jack that is safer and easier to use than the standard mechanical jack. It’s packed with similar features and is significantly lighter and more compact.

Although Jack comes with a sleek carrying case, one of our highly requested accessories for Jack was an interior mounting bracket.

I don’t like that it looks lopsided on the tailgate. Perhaps it doesn’t fit, but maybe it should be spaced further away / out so that it can at least lay horizontally flat. This is a phenomenal jack (even though it’s crazy priced) but for those who can afford it, nice solution, just get it straight on the tailgate so it looks right.

The bracket is actually designed to store the Jack at about a +10-degree angle for a reason. Storing the Jack horizontally can cause air bubbles within the unit which can lead to a leak. This slight incline prevents that.

Damn sure can't use the molle netting on the door or the overland fold down table with that mounted on inside of tailgate. It would be better suited mounted elsewhere.

Maybe more suitable with roof rack mount that can be attached and removed when planning on outdoor ventures.

seems neat, but the Bronco tailgate table makes this mount a nogo.
any thoughts on a way to make this work?
