My commuter car is luckily an EV, and it has been paying for itself. I’ll be keeping the Bronco, but might be more picky as to when I drive it.

For me, jet fuel prices concern me more. Cost of tickets have gotten stupid and I use less than a gallon of gas going to-and-from the airport.

Fun Fact: CA used to break-out profits for both refiners and distributors. They decided that it showed taxes and other fees made them look bad vs profits LOL

Forgot to mention, the crude oil cost they use is based on 100% of the 42 gallons of crude oil going to gas production when it fact only 24 gallons is used for gas which increases the actual crude price per gallon by what, 180%?

But they do cover themselves in the fine print " For simplicity, the refining margins shown are based on producing one barrel of gasoline from one barrel of crude oil. No adjustments are made for other refined products." Simplicity LMFO
