Most of us are trying to de-badge the vehicle, why would we want to advertise for the tire manufacturer?

RWL's went out in 1987 and, with the exception of Arkansas, some obscure parts of California, areas around Oregon State University, and certain back desert parts of Arizona, haven't come back.

My Ram had OWL out when I bought it. At first I didn't really think I liked it but it has grown on me.

When I went to have my 33s mounted on my Wrangler, I forgot to mention to the tire place that I wanted the black wall out. At first I hated it but I really liked the look after a while and I got quite a few complements on the tires.

It's such a classic look.

Leno’s has RWL BF Goodrich tires. I think with retro steel wheels and just the white outline it works. Forgive the crap “photoshop” job.

Um im going for like a sort of post label thing with this relationship. You know, just dont want to know, ya know.

For real if RWL is wrong, I do not want to be right. Hell I love white walls, gonna cruise the miracle mile. I can even roll with the fellas rocking the mustard and mayonaise on hydros. But if you are purposefully hiding your car you are either boring and dont want people to know or your Batman.

I wanted more than anything raised white letters on our FJ40 growing up. Dad always said no and bought basic street treads. Fast forward to this weekend and I stop by to see my old man. He bought new wheels and BFG's with white letters for his FJ. Go figure. We got a chuckle out of it.

I like these. Cooper AT3-XLT's. This is on my F150. I will be adding Fuel wheels (different design)

and these same tires to the Bronco.

I've got those Cooper Discoverer's on my 94 Bronco XLT. Cooper's are made in Merica! ??

I'd post pictures of my 72' Ford Pinto with white lettering on Goodyear Polyglass tires but it would take to long to restore the slides.

I came from an era of white walls, red and blue line tires. Although I don't like promoting manufactures, it does have a nice finishing detail to the tire

Now we have the miracle of Magic Erasers. They work wonders on white walls!
