I broke a small tab the other day removing my back window. Has anyone had the dealer fix it under their warranty? Why are they even tiny plastic pieces?

nope not warrantied, already tried well at least at one of my dealership. they would need to replace the whole rear window panel which i got quoted for 700? i saw a quick fix on the forums though with a use of a paper clip which i was planning on doing.

Typically a broken part is not covered as it isnt a factory defect, but if you have a good relationship with your dealer/service dept, they might be able to help.

Got mine covered under warranty. If I ordered a new back window myself, quoted $240 by all the local dealerships. Dealer ordered a new rear window and reinforced with rivets according to Ford TSB.

Soooo should I just pop all these off when I get my Bronco, do they replace all tabs if only one breaks?

Seems inevitable that the window will fail.

I ordered a new set of windows to have on standby… they will eventually fail or get slashed. It just is.

Two of the plastic buckles that connect the back windows to the soft top broke on mine already, hopefully they will replace those for me too.

Not supposed to remove it like that. Keep the corners on and just pop it out. Watch the videos.

The bottom J hook on mine is actually broken. I didn't know this as I just got mine used a couple weeks ago. I wondered why the rear passenger side was kind of flappy sounding while driving and after inspection I found it. Does anyone know if this would be part of that TSB? It's astounding this heavy area of wear and tear is just made of small plastic connections.
