Are the KO2s on the stock Badlands Load Range 'E'? Was just wondering how they felt to drive. I heard that because the Broncos is a pretty heavy truck, there is enough weight there for the suspension to work to keep out the harshness. Any feedback?

I don't really understand what this means, but I've driven a nonsas badlands with the K02s. It felt like a truck (but not like a wrangler). What more could you want?

They are load range c. Load range d are used for heavy trucks with a heavy payload that you would put in the bed or a trailer. My last two vehicles was a lifted 2013 wrangler and a 2019 rubicon. I assure you on the road the bronco is like a lincoln towncar compared to a focus comparing the bronco to the wrangler.

I find my BL 4 door rides pretty nice on KO2's, I mean it's not a rolls royce or anything but it doesn't shake your fillings out.

They are C tires. I can only imagine the melt down if they were E. Enough people are going to complain the Bronco doesn't ride as well as their Volvo as it is.
Load range E for me, but I know what I'm getting in an off road vehicle.

Uh, I have them on my non-sas obx and they are fine. For the life of me I can't figure out why people are so worried about these tires. They are my favorite tires.

Which them are you referring too? The stock tires?
Whatever you have, as long as you are happy with them, that’s what matters.

So them is probably C. The OP was interested in knowing the load range of the stock tire. I do not think he was too concerned other than just knowing what they are.

No they are not c rated, I don't believe. Mine are E rated.

If I had to run 'E' load based on the tires I like, what PSI would you recommend I run them at? Size: 255/70R16.

Max is 80 PSI so would half be good to minimize harshness/stiffness, etc.?

Thanks!

I personally don't own a Volvo, but people do need to understand the pro's and cons on an E load rated tire. They absolutely will ride more harsh. They will make a slight impact on mpg and performance. They do, generally, offer better puncture resistance for off roading. Someone who spends a great deal of time in the rocks off roading, E is likely the better choice. A weekend warrior who uses his/her Bronco as a daily driver is likely better with a C, XL or even SL tire. There's no one size fits all, different needs for different people that's all.
