Yes I'm sure Squatch tires will make snowflakes run to their prius safe space.

Yeah, I was just thinking the Squatch is definitely not snowflake safe.

Quote below from the above posted thread ... Pretty much sums up my exact thoughts....and I can appreciate somebody that recognized the decent amount of siping also.

We really don't know yet...Goodyear stated they were going to test the new tires for the 3 peak snowflake, but I haven't seen results. The KO2 has the symbol and they are decent in snow. The Goodyear actually looks to have more siping than the KO2, so I am optimistic that it is pretty good in the snow. We will have to wait for testing and reviews or real world experience to really know.

From someone who lives in the foothills outside Denver... if it's not a true single-purpose snow tire then you will be in trouble up here. I plan on getting a second set of winter wheels/tires for the Bronco just like my other vehicles. Seems the options for good ones are limited, going with the Nokian Hakkapeliitta LT 3.

Run Hakkapeliitta R3’s on the VW, Hankook i Pikes on the Xterra, before that Blizzaks. Nothing comes close to the Hakkapeliittas. 315’s will suck compared to narrower tires on snow covered paved roads.
