I have driven 2.7 10 speed and 2.3 10 speeds and 2.3 manuals and about every rear end ratio. From my stand point they both seemed very similar with the 10 speed auto, no real difference around town or on the freeway. I would say motor wise not to worry as the ford 10 speed has proven to have enough gear ratio spread to make it a mute point.

I bought a 2.3 10 speed with 3.73 gears, it drove almost exactly like the 2.7 wildtrak demo. Offroad there may be some difference and on a steep grade the 2.7 might hold a lower gear.

Does anyone feel this 2.3L is loud? It sort of buzzes all the time. Wondering if I should check in with the dealer

Iā€™m fine with it not being quiet. Just want to make sure itā€™s what others are experiencing

I've put almost 1k on my 2.3L Big Bend its bone stock, and I'm running 93oct. Noise is fine, unless you have a truck next to you or on the highway. Granted I have the soft top model.

Happy with the tranny-shifting feels smooth and right, sports mode seems to draw out the down shift but I guess thats by design.

I traded in my 2019 5.0 stang for my Bronco, and I can say I am enjoying the Bronco a lot more than I did the stang. And while I miss the growl and pep on the 302, there's just something about the Bronco that makes me want to actually drive the damn thing.

Also for a 4500lbs truck that 2.3/gearing does a damn good job not making it feel like a tank.

Well Iā€™m 3000 miles in Iā€™ve learned a ton. Mine is a 2.3 auto BaseSquatch.
Eco mode is useless. I use sport mode for daily driving and get better mpg this way. On the interstate normal is best with cruise

I have 4400+ miles on my @dr BL sas averaging 18 running regular fuel. I have zero complaints with the 2.3 or the auto here at 6667'. Very happy with my choice.

Every review of the 2.3 that i can find is with the 7-speed MT. Does anyone have a link to a review of the 2.3 with the 10-speed AT?
I have 2.3 auto with the optional 4.27 axles (locker) on the 22 big bend two door. Put about 1600 miles on her since Feb all onRegular fuel and itā€™s been getting close to 20 combine city hwy. Love it! Planing to lift w larger tires.

6000 miles on a 2.3 auto 4dr Sasquatch. 19 in town. 17.5-18 at 75 mph. All on 87 octane. Plenty of power. I pulled my 4 seat Polaris Ranger with no issues as well.

I test drove 2.7L 10 speed Auto w/Sasquatch, 2.3L Auto Big Bend non-Sas, and 2.3L MT Black Diamond non Sas prior to ordering. My thoughts are, if you want the Automatic, the 2.7L feels much more powerful and easier to drive. The 2.3L automatic was fine, but definitely my last choice between the 3 main options. The 2.3L automatic didn't sound as good and hitting the highway entrance ramp left me wanting a bit more power. I ordered a 2022 Black Diamond with Sasquatch and 2.7L with the automatic in February 2022 (still waiting). I had not driven the 2.3L with MT prior to ordering as it had been difficult to find. Ironically I went to check out a local dealer that had a Bronco in the color ordered (Hot Pepper Red Metallic) that I wanted to actually see in person. It was a 2.3L MT Black Diamond Non-Sas . It ended up being a lot more fun to drive than the 2.3L Automatic (pulls well when the turbo kicks in). I ended up buying the 2.3L MT Black Diamond and kept the 2.7L Auto Black Diamond with Sasquatch on order. I like driving the manual and would have definitely preferred the MT with the 2.7L if it was an option. I have been pleasantly surprised by how well the 2.3L drives. I'm a bit tempted to switch the order to a MT instead, though have not made that change as it would pretty much guarantee it to be a 2023. The Bronco is averaging about 18.5 with a mix of 87 and premium (91 or 93) depending on the mood, but I have not been shy about hitting the far right pedal. The Bronco is definitely a brick on the interstate and through Montana, into the wind, saw the MPG dropping to 15s after cruising around 19mpg through MN and ND. Mixed City is mostly 18-20mpg. Currently at 7500 miles. Good luck with your choice as it still mainly comes down to whether you like an automatic or a manual better.

Well it's not a video but here's one: https://www.caranddriver.com/reviews/a38070898/2021-ford-bronco-by-the-numbers/

The instrument tested 0-60 and fuel economy numbers should sway anyone concerned with mpg numbers toward the 2.3. 6.5 seconds and 19 mpg observed for the 2.3 OBX and 6.2 seconds with 15 mpg for the Wildtrak. But I totally understand that some are not concerned with fuel efficiency and just want/need the most possible power.

I'm averaging 22 mpg in my stock 2.3 10sp Big Bend with over 12,000 miles on the odometer.

Donā€™t be disappointed my 2.7 has been great and consistently gets 2 mpg better than my wifeā€™s 2.3. She is on 35ā€™s Iā€™m on 37ā€™s both 4.27 gears.

I have had my 2.3L 10 speed-auto for over 6 months and love it. No problems. 18 MPG around town; 21 MPG on country roads; 11 MPG on FSR.
Do you find that the transmission is a little jerky at lows speeds?
Donā€™t know how best to describe it, but I tend to notice it when slowing down before making a turn off the road, the rpmā€™s go really low and itā€™s almost sounds like itā€™s gonna do the autostop while Iā€™m still moving.
I just seem to notice the car switching gears at lower speeds, and I donā€™t in other cars.
