You think it will be easy?
oh man, I can't wait for the aftermarket then. Solid back window is really the only thing that has me bummed about the top

Maybe I missed something, but looking through the many available photos as well as the CGI pictures, it seems that the MIC is the one with rear removable window panels and the painted top is solid.

Here’s the MIC.

This video shows the windows being removed from the painted modular top at about 3;00.

Check this out if it works. This would for sure be much more complicated, but gives an idea what is possible

Anything is removable if you try hard enough.
That’s the thing I’m really digging about the Bronco (and the different concepts Ford has been showing off). They have really done a great job at giving us a truly modular framework that we can build out to suit our own unique needs be that with factory accessories or through what I’m sure will be a burgeoning aftermarket. Having those Bronco Bolts all over the vehicle as indicators of places they know we will want to bolt on our own stuff is genius.

I see, so the window panel is not removable even on the painted top, only the window itself?

Not sure what you mean by a "panel", but the glass is set into a frame as seen in the video and that assembly comes out with the press of a button.

If it’s the Area 51 overland concept that you posted a picture of that has you confused... Ford said explicitly that the blacked out windows were only a one-off concept, and not anything planned for production.

Which means:

Wait for the aftermarket, and it *Will Happen* .
Because Ford proved that it is doable.
