I was waiting until they unveiled the Heritage Edition to decide, but I'm probably going to build out a Base Bronco into my own retro build. From my estimates, having the MIC top wrapped in white, reupholstering the seats and trim with leather covers, installing a set of ADV Fiberglass's square flares, and swapping the wheels and tires will still come out to less than what a Heritage Edition retails for, and that's assuming it doesn't get a disgusting dealer markup for being a specialty version.

Not unless it comes with a rattle can to paint that obnoxious grill.

If it didn’t have the white dash I would swap.

I was going to because like everyone else on here I loved the white top, dash and trim when they were rendered back in 2020, and unlike most on here, I still do. But my dealer didn't 99 me in time and I go scheduled. So I'll drive mine, order an HE, then sell mine when the HE comes in.

No, prior to launching the Heritage, I had already planned to have the MIC and the grille painted white so that is pretty much what I wanted. I would like the have the white wheels but budgetary constraints at the time.

A lot of people are getting built this year. Would kind of suck to wait all year and then get 2022 in December 🤣
Yep. I got mine on Dec 23rd. I asked my dealer if he could hold it for a few days. He said, "no, you have to pay the taxes on it, not me." LOL!
If this is truly a concern for people, 99 it before the VIN is issued. I had a VIN for 5 months before I got mine delivered.

I find them to be gimmicky. But I am sure others will really appreciate them. Already have my badlands but I wound not have ordered one of these.

Does anyone know of someone who got a golden ticket Raptor, elected to receive it, then changed their mind to get a regular Bronco before the VIN was issued? I would like to get in line for a Heritage, but if the Oates is awesome and offers a manual transmission switch over. Not sure what is allowed with the special editions and using your reservation. Thanks in advance.
So I reserved a 2dr BL in July 2020, got pushed to supposedly 23 because we wanted painted hardtop, missed the golden ticket but got a dealer allocation for a Braptor because we thought we could get that one before the original BL. Got an email in early Aug saying our original BL was being built. Talked to our sales guy and he let us wait until we saw that one in person before letting go of the allocation. I think it has a lot to do with your dealer.

I am up in the air on it. Currently have a Black Diamond 2 dr on order (2/2/22 order date, no reservation). I really like the Heritage looks, and it doesn’t look like I’m getting scheduled this year anyway, so I’m really tempted.

Who else is thinking about pulling the trigger on the Heritage?
The hardware on it doesn't seem quite right and using that shade of white doesn't appeal to me at all the way they used it.

And I was possibly interested with the Robin's egg blue, but ultimately it's a huge downgrade from Badlands just for the fenders the vehicle should have come with in the first place.

Overall I see the Heritage edition as a visual swing and a miss, plus a quizzical hardware pairing all bundled together at a price premium that won't hold its value either in the collectors sense or retail value.
