I love how your dealer and a few others seems to provide solutions. My dealer tells me to call 4 wheel parts or to look for tires elsewhere. Every question about wheels, tires, level kit is answered by “we will have to get back to you on that” or “I’m not sure we do that”.

I have two young kids in booster seats as well. How is it with loading them in and out? I currently have a midsize SUV and they can climb in and out themselves. Leg room okay for kids and driver/passenger? I'm trying to decide if a four door will work for a our next family vehicle.

What are you thoughts on the MGV material with the cooler weather?

Seeing your build adds to my depression for canceling my early reservation for a four door Black Diamond!

Took delivery yesterday! Area 51 Black Diamond Soft Top - 2.3 mid package. Added a 1 in front level and 33 BFG KO2s and I think she’s perfect!

Thank you all for all the information through the looooooong wait. I was a day 3 reservation but had all the deadly constraints on my original build, then switched over to this one and had a build date within a week.

Got it at Two Rivers Ford outside of Nashville, TN and Matthew Barker was incredible to work with. Couldn’t recommend him enough!!!

Edit: Added more pics! Put the vintage Bronco script on today from Bronco Depot USA! Car seats fit well and I’m one happy dude!

My girls (6&8) climb up in it no problem. Leg room is good for adults up front, kids in back. Might be a little tight for adults in the back depending on their size.

MGV is awesome. it’s very comfortable and I love how easy it is to clean. My muddy golden retriever decided to check it out first day and it just wiped off. I’m a little concerned about punctures from dog nails or car seats though but I’m going to get car seat protectors just to make sure. MGV seems pretty tough, just don’t want to take a chance.

Dude. Thank you for posting these pictures. This is the exact look I was hoping to go for. We have a day 1 black Diamond that just showed up and I had the dealer put these tires on because of your post. Thank you!

could definitely put three smaller boosters in the back though, depending on age, the kiddos would be shoulder to shoulder. I’m not sure if it has the latch system in the middle. But my kids LOVE it. We bundle up and drop the top going everywhere!
Three boosters huh? I will have two in boosters (by the time it gets delivered) and I’m hoping to put a regular car, albeit thin, car seat in the middle and the two narrow boosters on the sides. Wish me luck!

I ordered something similar - December 23rd build date. Black Diamond Manual 2.3 soft top with steelies and dealer swapped out tires for 255/80R17, which are 33.1 in tall x 10 in wide vs. the stock 265/70R17's which are 31.6 in x 10.4 in. I added a 1 in level kit but not needed at all.

Sorry for the pic of me taking trash to the dump, but it shows the tires and fender deletes. Also shows the EZ-lift strut, best mod ever for making the top lift itself...

Nice Black Diamond! Fellow black diamond in Atlanta - I took some Wildtrak take-offs (keep the all black look), got black lugs from Ford Performance, and did do the 2" lift and 35s - I did really like the steelies and simple black-out wheels. Hope you continue to enjoy!

Thanks. My dealer doesn't do lifts so I'll be taking it to TC Customs in Bham once I take delivery. Should be a fun little road trip.
I got my lift done at Butler Tires in Buckhead - maybe pricey, but smart guys that do very good work.
