Area 51 Bronco Sport in Cloudy/Rainy Weather

I want to start this off by letting everyone know this Bronco Sport can be seen at Suburban Ford in Waterford Michigan.

Anyways, I can't believe I finally got so see this color! It was so much better in person. I only liked Area 51 in photos on the rare occasion it appeared to be a bright blue, but if this is as dark as the color gets, I am seriously considering it. These photos were taken on an iPhone 12 Pro and I was careful to make sure they were not over exposed. The color is EXTREMELY accurate for the weather we are experiencing here. I have also attached a couple of pictures of the sky and the weather report from my phone. Also, for anyone that has the iPhone 12 Pro or Pro Max in Pacific Blue I took a picture with an iPhone XR to compare the color of the phone with the paint.

And for those that know how, I included photos that have white paper or a white window sticker in them so you can adjust the photos how you see fit.

Thanks for doing the white paper correction . After I correct for the white level the A51 looks just like when I saw it in person . I wish more people would do this when taking pictures of shifting colors . You have to do the correction on your own computer/monitor setup but it works great .

It definitely is close, but I would say Area 51 is a bit darker in color and has a very very slight green tint to it. I didn't notice any green until I compared it with my blue phone and the blue shirt I was wearing.

So it does have some green. Would you say as dark as your pacific blue 12 pro. Just a little greener?

Definitely greener than the Pacific Blue.

We do get a lot of compliments on this color! Good to know. Pretty set on A51 even though I think it will be BY FAR the most popular color for these first year Broncos. What trim ya gettin'?
