Best part of the photo are the faux-steelies. I so wish they were available on the Bronco.
Ford Bronco Area 51 paint issue!! UNC Tarheel Blue

This ought to make a lot of UNC fans happy. Expecting to see hundreds around the Triangle/RTP, except around Durham.

Here is Cavalry Blue as seen with early Bronco body lines. Not mine but I wouldn't mind.

Not to start a whole other discussion but I went to the paint supplier and had a cavalry blue sample. I went outside in the sunlight and it was waaaay darker than that lol. What a pain!

I find it one of the cool aspects of Cavalry Blue and what is so appealing about A51. The change in color based on shading level. The other positive part is that it doesn't show dirt well, so it is a real positive for those of us that don't get around to a carwash regularly.

Yes. My step-father bought it new in '75. I remember riding in it when it was new and driving it on the farm at 8 yr old when it was an automatic sitting on the front edge of the seat. It is a survivor with few changes other than swap to a manual (3 speed on the floor) and cut out fenders. 200K+ miles on it. I drove it as a senior in high school and some in college. My step-father used it as a DD for a lot of years.

Does anyone have a link to where to purchase the right color A51 paint? It looks like Ford and other companies have the wrong paint color for the KU paint code??? I bought from FORD directly and the paint code matches up but the color is a dark gray. PLease help!!!
