Think of PPF as a 2nd skin. So you damage the PPF and not your actual vehicle body.

Don't forget XPEL PPF is self healing.

Ans yes, you can wash it.

Here's a lightning blue raptor with a stealth wrap

Geez, insane cost. It's an off-road rig. I'll take the rock chips and scratches.

The problem is the tires are such rock eaters you going to get those rock chips before you even hit the trail!

Meet my area51 Wrapthor ;) So I just got my bronco wrapped with Xpel stealth ppf. Initially I wanted partial clear ppf but when they showed me how is it gonna look like in stealthy I was immediately sold! Next week I'm adding some black vinyl elements on the hood and sides so that will introduce more contrast which I want.

Looks great. Does anyone have pics of similar PPF on a Velocity Blue?

Looks good , need to get this done these tires suck for picking up and throwing rocks , went down one gravel and got a chip , would probably have 50 if not for steps I put on . Might switch tires as well , these are just plain bad for it

Thanks guys! still no sun here but I was able to take some pics in overcast lighting.

yeah rock chips are brutal, that's why I stopped off-roading for a while because didn't want to cause any more damage. Fortunately all chips were fixed before applying ppf. But I still feel we need some cool mud flaps!

Also, cool fact for people who has that annoying creaking sound from the tail gate. I'm happy to share that it's now suddenly gone because of the ppf. I guess it helped to separate those two rubber thingies which hold the tire. Now they don't touch car paint directly I guess.

IMO, this may be the best looking setup i've seen yet. I'm not familiar with this process, can i still run it through the nice automatic wash or is it hand wash only going forward?
