Anyone else going to look into the Armorlite floors when they come out? I think they are pretty slick! I contacted customer support a.k.a. Michelle and they will be coming out in 23’, hopefully early in the year. I love the added layer of heat/cold retention and some added sound deadening, not to mention they look sweet!
Great idea for those who have models with carpeted floors and I’d assume even some with washout floors too… Not sure I’ll want them on my BD, but my two door base? Hell yeah! Let me know your thoughts goarmorlite.com

Well hell. I watched the install video, and it wasn’t what I expected, at all. on perpetual hold waiting on my Black Diamond build, so not necessarily my thing. However, the sand colored floor they sell has the potential for an interesting application in Base / Big Bend / Wildtrak builds with the tan seat options.

Armorlite makes some good stuff. Their Jeep flooring is top notch. They are actually going to be making the new washout floor option for the Wranglers and Gladiators.

I agree that sand floor is really nice

This looks just like the factory washout flooring.

Did customer service say whether it was the full floor kit or just the front?

They offer both options for the Jeep, at least on the 2Dr's.

I have a Black Diamond Sasquatch as my order, but depending on SEMA product reveals and such, I've been really considering just going Base Sasquatch and letting the Aftermarket do the rest.

Things like this make a basequatch look better and better. This will be it if-when I mess up the carpet, perhaps well down the road, if floor liner options trip up. It took a full 175K miles on an Expedition to make me want to refloor it, likely less than that on a Bronco. Well done OP

Do it.

Got my grey 4D basequatch in July, only options were hardtop, aux switches, liners, rock rails.

Added only the following, based upon the great forum advice here...

-- window tinting with 3M Crystalline (70-40-20 front, front row sides, rear, $850)
-- a Kicker Key 200.4 smart amplifier (stuck with the stock speakers, they're not the problem, $250 plus $110 for the pre-built wire harness, a must)
-- a killer side rocker stripe that my daughter put on (for like $35)
-- door sill guards (standard clear ones from Amazon, again maybe $30)

Only thing left is the seat heaters for winter, scheduled for next month ($500 for good ones, installed well). I prefer cloth seats, but can always switch them out later with the myriad of options if they get cruddy. Like the flooring option discussed above.

There is no way in hindsight I'd have preferred to have paid up for higher trim level, just to get B&O, seat heaters, etc. Just too many third party options.

The exception is Sasquatch, did not want to go down the lift/spacer/locker/axle ratio wormhole. Maybe will add the manual from sway bar disconnect later, but that is cheap too.

It's a serious consideration at this point.

I like my Black Diamond build that's submitted, but if Armorlite flooring is the full set and not suffering from a big Bronco tax, I'll more than likely be swapping to Base.

I've run the gambit with my model choices since the reservation and first order submission.

With the Aftermarket finally starting to get into the groove, it's hard to over-look the foundation a Base Sasquatch offers, especially for people like me who can't leave anything stock after the first day. 😁

No doubt. The Armorlite is a real win if they don't gouge. I'm in.
(and hopefully they're watching this thread)

I doubt they’d gouge or be vastly different in pricing vs current Jeep offering, but who knows. To really get a better understanding of Armorlite flooring I’d recommend watching the install video, this is a beefy and tough looking product!! Certainly thicker and likely to offer more heat/cold retention and sound deadening vs the oem washout flooring…without watching video it’s hard to understand the product

I had the floors in my jeep. I got them when Armorlite was just getting started they were very good quality. They were quite expensive and I bought the front and rear set. When I bought them they weren’t making the rear cargo area.
They offer different color drain plugs, I got the orange, which was a nice touch. All in all it was a quality product and I would recommend it. My bronco has the washout rubber floor so no need this time but don’t hesitate it was a good company and a fair priced product.

Great to hear from someone who has actually owned them!! I have a Black Diamond sas and will leave as is. My 2 door base however this will be an ideal setup!

I reached out to Armorlite to see if I could get any additional info from them.

The reply back said that they plan on starting with more door first then 2Dr later on in 2023.

The plan right now is to do front and rear flooring but the cargo area/mat is undecided as of yet.

It's positive news for the most part, but I have mixed feelings about the uncertainty of the cargo area/mat.

For those that have had these in Jeeps, is it slick when wet? I’ve read here that some folks are using their carpet mat on the factory washout because it gets slick. A Jeep buddy of mine prefers the spray on, claiming these sort of floors lead to rust. His experience is pretty dated though. Any thoughts on these two supposed cons?
