For those that have had these in Jeeps, is it slick when wet? I’ve read here that some folks are using their carpet mat on the factory washout because it gets slick. A Jeep buddy of mine prefers the spray on, claiming these sort of floors lead to rust. His experience is pretty dated though. Any thoughts on these two supposed cons?
No; it is not slick at all. I had the full kit in my Wrangler. It is better than spray-in because it provides more insulation and noise reduction. As for rust--if the paint coating has a break in it, then the metal will rust no matter what system is installed. I installed Kilmat first and then the Armorlite so in essence I had both (spray in and Armorlite).

Armorlite is top-notch and is the best on the market.
