In the rolling hills of Troy, NC, we enjoyed an awesome trip, off roading for about 4 hours at this beautiful Outpost.
First thing I noticed was that at the full Off-Rodeo, there were only a few 2 door owners. At the Outpost, it was mostly two door owners!
Started off with introductions and trail rules, the usual.
Then air down and take off!
Donāt forget, youāre using your own Bronco at the Outpost!
Another comparison to the Tennessee Off-Rodeo is that the trails that lead from one āobstacleā to another are more demanding, no boring sections here.
And this is a public off roading site, youāll see anything and everything!
This motorcycle passed us (9 in our group), but managed to drop the bike twice on the way up.
Broncos vs Broncos!
And really good obstacles. We attended the āIntermediateā trail ride, for Badlands or Sasquatch only.
Hats off to Erica, our trail guide for the day. Sheās one of the best!
And toward the end, we even got to play aroundā¦
Overall, an awesome day, and made some new friends!
After our trail ride, we enjoyed box lunches, your choice of roast beef, chicken salad, or turkey and pesto, plus fruit, snacks and drinks, before airing back up to go home.
If they do this one again, I recommend this bed and breakfast, about a 25 minute ride from the Outpost.
Badin Inn, Badin NC.
View from back, old golf course converted to disc golf.
