Thanks for the link @ironmike

They're being quite vague about it...

"Whatever the tune requires/ parts touched when having to install, those parts would be voided, but parts/ parts of the vehicle that were never touched would not- the warranty would be active."

What the heck does 'parts touched' mean? So it voids the warranty on the obd2 port? I've also called around for a better clarification and no one can really tell me anything. Like the comment in that thread says, seems like Ford doesn't want to offer insurance on a Ford product which is crazy. @Ford, you guys certainly have an interesting approach to sales

I went to my local dealer here in NJ which has a whole Ford Performance Center shop. They installed my tune for me and I asked them this same question. The manager for that department called his Ford Performance rep while I was there to clarify things. Their statment was that extended plans are fine... its just that the tune itself is not covered beyond 3/36k. When I asked them what the heck that meant he told me that if i were to come in at lets say 40k miles and the problem i was having was a corrupt engine tune software issue or the procal device failed... or i needed to remove the tune... or re-install it... etc... that would not be covered... but the engine components would be. My guess is that Ford is trying to hedge their bets here on software support.... so 5 years from now they won't have to spend money to ensure this engine tune remains backwards compatible with future updates to other things they may have to do.

Happy Friday Friends!

The Ford Extended Warranty increase begins next week - September!

We are not aware of how much the increase will be but there will be the increase that occurs.

With the price of vehicles today and all of the technology as well as the amount of labor, it is always. nice to have that peace-of-mind daily knowing your vehicle is covered.

Purchase yours today to make sure you are not obligated to the increase!

Go to https://grangerfordextendedwarranty.com/ and purchase yours TODAY!

If you have any questions please let me know!

Thank you for your support:)
I went on the site and the prices for the plans look great... but i was never asked for the model of bronco I have... are all the bronco plans priced the same? I have the bronco raptor and went all the way to the point where i entered my vin and the price still stayed same? If that is the case i am all in!

I have a '21 Outer Banks/Lux with about 25K mi. I've only had regular service with no other problems. I never use it off road. The 3 yr warranty expires in 2 wks. and the cost for Ford to extend the warranty for another 2 yrs is just over $100 per month. Based on past experience, it seems unnecessary. The only failure has been the Blind Spot Warning system because of a worn wire.
Any comments or advice?

I do believe the price would be the same even considering it is a Raptor.
