audio source defaulting to my phone as soon as it connects - how to prevent?

So I'm completely new to phone connected vehicles, and so far I love it, but every time I get in the truck and start it, the audio source switches away from sat radio to my phone, which is rather annoying. I want it to stay on what ever source I used last, is that an option somewhere in the menus? I must be using wrong search terms because I can't find anything with google either.

I'm still having this issue, might be just the way it is, but it's annoying. Once I get in my car and start it, first it'll play Sirius but once my phone connects it switches over to apple car play and mostly plays no music until I hit play.

I'd like the source to stay where I set it, not switch to my phone every time I turn the car on.

Anyone know where there might be a setting for this? Of course I want the phone to connect to the car, but I don't want the audio source to switch to phone automatically. Can't find anything in the manual and can't find a current sync4 manual either.
